In May 2013 the friends´ association of Fontfroide inFranceand the friends of Herkenrode in Belgium visited Vreta abbey site inSweden– Fontfroide the 12th and Herkenrode the 17th May. The two associations had a trip each when they visited some Swedish Cistercian abbey sites (Sko, Gudhem, Varnhem, Nydala, Alvastra, Vreta and Askeby) and they also spent a day inStockholm, the capital. The Cistercian friends in Vreta very much enjoyed to meet their French and Belgian equals and are glad to have photos to look at for remembering the two very nice days.
