Esrum Abbey
Cistercian abbey founded in 1151. The Clairvaux line. Culture option, permanent exhibition on the Cistercian order. Presenst exhibitions, concerts, theatre etc. The museum shop with medieval specialities, books and toys. Restaurant in the fine vaulted abbey cellar. There is also a café in the abbey courtyard in the summertime.
Abbey garden: Experience more than 100 different medicinal plants from the middle ages. Display of medicinal herbs.
Marking of the foundation: A part of the abbeys foundation is marked on the grounds.There is a short path to the holy spring with its source in
Grib
Forest.
Abbey meadow Rich variety of plants and animals adapted to life in the wetlands. Frederiksborg horses grass here in the summer.
Walk: Take a walk in the area. Choose the short walk in the vicinity, the medium long walk, which leads you through the forest, or take a longer walk around

Lake.
